Since the end of
2001, the office has been involved in the Greater Manchester Past Finder
project. This project has now finished. Our aim is to provide information
about the type of archives available. A database has been created and is
online at http://www.dswebhosting.info/GMCRO At a national level is the Access to Archives project. Greater Manchester has submitted lists concerning groups such as Trade Unions and Societies, Documentary Photography Archive photographs and family and estate papers. The Paul Graney Project aims to digitise all 760 tape recordings made during the lifetime of the late Paul Graney |
