THE SOCIETY

The Society was founded in 1878 to transcribe and publish original documents relating to the two palatine counties. 133 volumes have now been published, making available a wide range of sources, important for any study of North West England. To maintain its aim of publishing a volume each year the Society depends largely on the continuing support of its individual and institutional subscribers.

The subscription for the current year is:

Members receive the appropriate published volumes for which their subscriptions have been paid, and may purchase additional volumes at preferential rates.
