Saturday (second and fourth of the month only) 9 am to 12 noon; 1 pm to 4 pm. No appointment is necessary to visit the office but if you wish to be assured of a machine to view microfilmed records then you can book in advance.Directions to the office can be downloaded to your computer by clicking on the right hand mouse button and either choosing "Open" or "Save target as". The file is in Word (349Kb) format. An Abode Acrobat version is also available. Google maps is also useful for helping you locate the office. Documents have to be ordered 24 hours in advance for Saturdays. There is no charge to use the office's facilities with the exception of residents of Stockport. They are requested to pay £2 per visit as Stockport Council do not contribute to the office's budget. An explanatory leaflet is available in Adobe Acrobat format should you require more information.
