Registers of the War Graves of the British Empire, listing men who died in World War I, and were buried in Africa, America, Asia, Belgium, East Africa, France, Gallipoli, Great Britain and Ireland, Iraq, Italy, and Palestine and Syria. The series also includes three volumes listing the names inscribed on the Naval Memorial in Portsmouth.
Greater Manchester County Record Office is a Listening Centre for the North West Sound Archive, whose headquarters is in Clitheroe. Collections held include the BBC Voice in (he Crowd series, but any of the 80,000 recordings held in Clitheroe on oral history, dialect, western classical music, and BBC and ILR (Independent Local Radio programmes, may be heard at GMCRO by arrangement.
