The Guide to collections provides an introduction to the 4 miles of shelving of archives stored in GMCRO. Without proper finding aids, lists and catalogues these unique documents are not readily available for study. Because each group of archives is more significant than the individual items within it, a Guide to the different archival collections is an important tool for users and archivists alike. Where indicated, you can now download catalogues from these pages. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Pastfinder is a database of archive to be found in the archive services in Greater Manchester.
