| Old White Lion, Long Millgate 1875.
Manchester Cathedral can just be seen on the right, while to the left of
these licensed premises at No 4 is an undertaker who is selling the
latest in coffins. The picture on the right was taken in 2002 and is
looking to where the White Lion once stood. This is now the site
of the Urbis Museum of the Metropolis which opened in August 2002 |
